Minimum system requirements

To install and use BICS, your PC must meet the following minimum system requirements:

  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system (with administrator rights: 'administrator' on Windows or 'root' on Linux and macOS).
  • Operating System:
    • Windows® 10 (64-bit) or above – (BICS is no longer supported on Windows 7, 8.1, and 32-bit systems for security reasons)
    • macOS 13 (Ventura) or above
    • Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® 8.9 or above
    • Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS or above
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i5 or equivalent AMD
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Display resolution of at least 1024 x 768 pixels
  • Network: Broadband internet connection
  • Storage: 4 GB available disk space
  • Web Browser: To access the BICS application, you should use a recent web browser with HTML5 support, such as:
    • Microsoft™ Edge
    • Mozilla Firefox®
    • Google Chrome™
    • Apple Safari
